I came across these mysterious symbols on the sidewalk not far from home.  Is it Egyptian hieroglyphs?   Is an Egyptian mummy loose in London?  Is it looking for me????

They seem to lead to the sewers, so have the rats taken up graffiti lately?  Are these the markings left behind by E.T?

Whatever they are, rest assured that I shall investigate it further…

They are appealing for witnesses to burglary that took place in the block where I live. I was working on my computer at the time and due to my visual condition (Strabismus) I was wearing a patch on my eye to make it easier for me to cope.

“Did you see anything on that night sir?”, the policewoman asked
“Even if I did, you’d probably only get half a story from me. I only have one eye…”

They both burst out laughing and went lobster red in the face. They could no longer continue in ‘serious’ conversation so they thanked me and left.

They were still laughing on their way down the stairs….

I designed this poster myself and when I went our for supplies earlier I took several copies which I displayed at various locations. I watched the reactions from inside a coffee shop – it was fun…
