They are appealing for witnesses to burglary that took place in the block where I live. I was working on my computer at the time and due to my visual condition (Strabismus) I was wearing a patch on my eye to make it easier for me to cope.

“Did you see anything on that night sir?”, the policewoman asked
“Even if I did, you’d probably only get half a story from me. I only have one eye…”

They both burst out laughing and went lobster red in the face. They could no longer continue in ‘serious’ conversation so they thanked me and left.

They were still laughing on their way down the stairs….
